Simple Skiff Shoe : Eco, Vegan, Spiffy

I haven't ridden a skateboard in a few decades, and whenever I talk about getting one, my friends laugh at me. They're right; I'd probably break my neck. So, I'lll just keep my mid-life crisis in check and settle for some skateboard-inspired vegan slip-on sneaks from Simple.
Made out of a hemp upper and lined in organic cotton, the lghtweight Skiff shoe is modern, eco footwear at its finest. The soles are made out of recycled car tires, the insoles are made out of recycled plastic bottles, and the rubber running along the sides of the shoe is made out of recycled bike tires. (One old bike tired provides "bumpers" for three pairs of shoes.)
Part of Simple's EcoSneaks line, these sweet shoes have become a favorite. I like the kick-around style and the easy fit.
Men's sizes availalbe in brown, black, white, and green. Women's style, called the Retire, availble in three solid colors and two fancy, fun striped versions (see photo top right).
