Bendon Flex Out Sports Bra : Solid Support

I have to admit, I was skeptical.   The sports bras that I've always used are the standard style--pull over your head and go. The Bendon Flex Out sports bra, on the other hand, looks like it could have been in The Matrix: black with silvery accents, a sinuous piece of underwire, and mesh panels in the back and on some edges. (Obviously, as pictured, also available in white.)

It took a little bit of wiggling to get into the bra, which has a standard hook clasp and also crosses in back.   (Later, I figured out that I can rearrange the straps for either a racerback or a standard fit). But once it was on, it was surprisingly comfortable, providing solid support without a death grip.  

Thin foam panels on part of the straps keep the bra from digging into my shoulders, while those cool mesh panels are just that--cool. The cups are molded and slightly padded, just enough to look sleek under a T-shirt.   While the Flex Out style is listed as being suitable for medium-impact activities, the 34-B version suited me just fine for running as well. (Larger sizes might want to look at the Extreme Out and Max Out models, which provide high-impact support).
